It’s weird. I was so excited about moving to Des Moines… Now, I’m so excited when I get to come home. I feel like maybe I need to get more settled in before I can really decide how I feel about it. I like living in a bigger city where there’s more to do. I’ve gone out with the other pages a couple times and I’ve already had a few new experiences I probably wouldn’t have had in Waterloo. That’s a good feeling at least. Also, it’s nice being closer to Aaron and Ashley. I go hang out with them once in awhile and I always have fun there. Being in Des Moines is sweet, but I’m really just looking forward to heading to Iowa State in the fall. I have my roommates. Their names are Jordan and Anna, and they seem like so much fun. We’re living in a triple suite and it’s gonna be a blast. We’ve started choosing our bedding and stuff. It’s so much fun. Ugh, so much change is coming my way and I love it. I just hope it’s all as good as I’m hoping it will be.
